UAB Etanetas is implementing the EU-funded project "Replacing old servers with new ones". The total project value is €67,389.00, of which €47,172.00 is EU support. The project is financed under the "Next Generation Lithuania" economic recovery and resilience enhancement plan.

In its effort to contribute to ecological efficiency, the company decided to replace its old servers with next-generation servers featuring 2020–2022 processors. The use of the new processors will reduce energy consumption by up to 87% compared with the old ones. Lower energy use helps cut carbon dioxide emissions — by about 41 tonnes per year. In this way the company contributes to environmental conservation. The new processors deliver higher performance, so a single new server can replace two older, less efficient ones. Thanks to the higher performance of the new processors, data processing is faster, allowing the company to process more data more quickly — a benefit to operations and business productivity.

The completed project will allow the company to reduce energy consumption and server maintenance costs. We are glad to contribute to the country's ecological and innovative future.
